10 - 13 APRIL // CRUZ 101

Established in 1992, Cruz 101 has witnessed and contributed to the dynamic evolution of Manchester's LGBTQ+ scene. Its longevity is a testament to its ability to adapt to changing times while maintaining its core appeal. The club has celebrated numerous milestones, including its 32nd anniversary in 2024, marking over three decades of providing a safe and entertaining space for the LGBTQ+ community.
To enhance the clubbing experience, Cruz 101 is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. These modern installations ensure high-quality audio and visual effects, creating an immersive environment that keeps patrons engaged throughout the night.
The club has featured performances by world reknown artists such as Belinda Carlisle and many Eurovision stars including Sonia Evans.
Housed in a former warehouse, Cruz 101 offers an intimate yet energetic atmosphere. Spanning two floors, the club caters to diverse musical tastes. Built originally in 1910 as a railway yard, in 2019, the historic site of Depot Mayfield underwent a significant transformation, reopening as a 10,000-capacity venue dedicated to arts, music, industry, and culture, thereby preserving its industrial heritage while embracing contemporary uses.
Depot Mayfield is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support its diverse range of events. The venue boasts advanced sound and lighting systems, ensuring high-quality audio-visual experiences for attendees. Its expansive, adaptable space allows for innovative stage designs and immersive setups, accommodating large-scale concerts, cultural festivals, and community events. Now, in April 2025, Depot Mayfield becomes home to the MancHagen Eurovision Festival, which aims to provide an immersive concert experience, celebrating Eurovision's rich musical diversity to thousands of visitors from across the globe.
