PREGANCY GUIDANCE

1. Seating and Comfort

  • Seated Tickets: Pregnant individuals are often advised to opt for seated tickets to ensure comfort, as standing for long periods in crowded areas can be tiring and uncomfortable.

  • Rest Breaks: Be sure to take frequent breaks, stay hydrated, and avoid standing for long periods if you are further along in your pregnancy.

2. Sound Levels

  • Loud Environments: Concerts can be very loud, and while there's no clear evidence that noise at concerts can directly harm an unborn baby, it’s advisable to avoid very high noise levels, particularly during later stages of pregnancy. Ear protection like earplugs may help.  These can be provided by our team upon request.

3. Crowded Areas

  • Avoiding the Pit or General Admission: If you’re pregnant, it’s safer to avoid standing-room-only sections or areas near the stage where crowds might push and shove. Some venues have safer sections away from the crowd.  For further information, please speak to a member of our team on the day of the event or contact us via email.

4. Health & Safety

  • Consult a Doctor: Pregnant attendees should check with their healthcare provider before attending a concert, especially if the event will involve long periods of standing or being in a crowded, loud environment.

  • Access to Medical Help: Professional medical assistance will be available on the sites of our major events in case of an emergency.  Qualified First Aid and Fire Marshalls will be on site at all our venues in case of an emergency.

5. Venue Policies

  • Most venues do not specifically prohibit pregnant individuals from attending but recommend common sense precautions. Some venues may have facilities like priority seating or fast-track access for individuals with special needs, which might be useful during pregnancy, however, this is not guaranteed.  Please speak to a member of the venue team on the date of your event.

If you're attending a concert while pregnant, it’s wise to choose a seated ticket, avoid the loudest areas, and stay hydrated throughout the event. Always consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

  • First aid services are typically available at all major venues, and it’s advisable to inform staff if you have specific medical needs upon arrival.

6. Queue Jump or Early Access

  • Many venues allow people with disabilities to arrive early or provide fast-track entry to avoid waiting in long queues, which can be difficult for individuals with mobility issues or certain health conditions

7. Carer Ticket Scheme - Free Companion Ticket

  • In our commitment to making our chosen venues accessible to everyone, we will provide those ticket holders with a disability who require full-time assistance with a complimentary ticket for their personal carer/assistant. Please do not buy a ticket for a carer as we will be unable to refund it at a later date.

  • To take advantage of this scheme, please provide a copy of a recent Blue Badge, DLA, PIP or Access Card to show our venue staff and/or security. Each request will be looked at individually.

  • The scheme is run on a first come first served basis and based on size of the designated area.

  • We don’t send out the carer tickets in advance: an event wristband will be issued upon your arrival.
