INTERVAL ACT ANNOUNCEMENT - 11 APRIL 2025

As we are putting together our very own mini Eurovision shows for you, part of our plans have been to create an interval act worthy of your attention.

The brief given to our choreographers is to make you want to 'Embrace The Passion' of music through dance. It has been 15 years since Norway hosted the contest and launched their legendary flash mob interval act and now it's time to celebrate another anniversary with a new routine you can get your heart racing too.

Entitled 'Can't Help But Feel It', the interval act will feature a song written and produced by one of our lead organisers Kris and developed by our festival composer Rick and will get you moving in an upbeat and positive way that celebrates everything the contest stands for.

For this task, Kris has turned to two incredible artists and professional choreographers who have together been developing the showcase since August. Along with the song, the lead dancers you'll find more about below will be joined on stage by a group of dancers from various troupes and nationalities across Manchester.

Twin Flames Drag Duo and our choreographers is comprised of Suzie Q & Luna Tique. Both have a combined experience of 13 years in drag and have performed internationally as well as being fresh off their very own cabaret residency in the heart of Blackpool.

Suzie is also a professional choreographer of 16 years and has worked with Red Bull, Warner Brothers as well as her work featuring across both national and international Prides and stages.

The pair are extremely excited to be choreographing and featuring on the community song as well as choreographing the interval for the Friday night performance!

“We are so excited to combine dance, drag, unity and celebration all in the name of Eurovision! It’s such a unique experience uniting through music and performance and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been cooking up!”

Expect fireworks from this duo as the countdown to Eurovision begins!

Released in January 2025 and will help to raise money for charity. So, get ready to pop on your dancing shoes, go wild in the aisles!

Whilst Rick has always turned his talents towards the style of Scooter and Cascada, we challenged him to come up with our official festival theme music, postcard themes, countdown and work with our organisers on producing our Common Song and our Friday Interval Act Song.

What and incredible job he has done for us too. You can hear our anthem in the reel below and we finalise our other music at the end of January 2025 - so get ready to learn how to dance once again as we bring you the first Eurovision Flash Mob interval act in 15 years!

A visionary song that celebrates all our hopes, all our achievements as we never gave up on embracing the passion and uniting people by music.

"As a new queen on the scene I’ve developed my excitement for Eurovision so much ! Working up and down the village I have seen so many new aspects of the celebrations and community that Eurovision brings to us all.

We are thrilled to welcome our first (but not the only) band travelling from Pisa to Manchester! Our mission to celebrate and reunite Euro All Stars and the Class of 2025 continues across 2 concerts in the Capital Of The North, Manchester!

Act 16 is @piquedjacks_ who will perform live on stage on Saturday April 12 at the sublime @depotmayfield.

Piqued Jacks combine the hottest Italian alt/rock with a San Marino ambassadorship when they brought their pure energy from Tuscany to Eurovision in Liverpool 2023.

Following ‘Like An Animal’, their single ‘Aria’ was presented on national TV Rai1 and inaugurated the band’s 2023/24 European tour.

Festivals just like ours and showcase stages are where Piqued Jacks truly come alive. In 2022 they became the first Italian act ever to perform at @Summerfest in Milwaukee, USA and proved so popular they were invited back the following year. Will we see them again in MancHagen Euro Festival 2026? Bringing show stopping sets at a variety of festivals and events: @Musexpo (USA), @Lechlade Festival (UK), @Living Rock (Romania), Focus in the Park (Romania), @Eurosonic (Netherlands) and @Liverpool Sound

This annual celebration has 12 partners to date including 4 Eurovillage Venues in the iconic Gay Village on Canal Street and 2 spectacular concerts at @depotmayfield home of @whp_mcr and @homobloc An augmented reality Friday Concert at @chaos.karts with 7 metres high projection walls will leave you dizzy! Our next Yellow Carpet Parade Host is an expert ready to bring the insightful knowledge to our stars.

The Honest Vocal Coach, the expert singing teacher known as Georgina Hill-Brown specialises in teaching all ages in singing and musical theatre.

She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Sweet Sixteen, Just the Two of Us for the BBC and alongside Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten.

She's worked on many ITV children's shows like The Worst Witch and more. She has also judged many competitions that featured Lucy Spraggan, George Sampson who have gone on to have exciting careers.

She has also been the chairperson of the judges for the Festival4Stars evenbt working with Jade Thirwell of Little Mix fame.

Her YouTube channel has over 240,000 subscribers and features every year a look at the Eurovision entries.

We cannot wait to see what she asks on our Yellow Carpet Parade next April and so happy to have her on the team.
